Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LookBefore.org ("Service"), operated by AXIOM Unlimited LLC, a Wyoming series limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

LookBefore aggregates publicly available information from government databases, court records, regulatory filings, and other public sources into consolidated search reports. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial informational purposes only.

3. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

LookBefore is nota consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Reports generated by the Service are not "consumer reports" and may not be used, in whole or in part, to evaluate any individual for credit, employment, insurance, housing, tenant screening, or any other purpose governed by the FCRA or analogous state law.

4. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

5. Account Terms

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Payment Terms

Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Pro Monthly ($2.99/mo) and Pro Annual ($27.99/yr) subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Lifetime Pro ($111 one-time) is a single, non-recurring payment granting permanent access. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

7. Refund Policy

Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If a refund is granted on a subscription that earned an operative commission, the Company reserves the right to claw back the commission amount from the referring operative's accrued balance. No refunds are available for Lifetime Pro purchases after 14 days.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to: (a) stalk, harass, threaten, or intimidate any person; (b) violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; (c) engage in any FCRA-covered purpose; (d) scrape, crawl, or systematically access the Service by automated means beyond normal use; or (e) resell, sublicense, or redistribute reports or data obtained from the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, logo, software, and documentation are the property of AXIOM Unlimited LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Public records data included in reports remains in the public domain.

10. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Information provided by the Service is sourced from third-party public databases and is provided "as-is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information. You should independently verify any information before relying on it.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AXIOM Unlimited LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in the State of Wyoming. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 3, 10, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. SMS & Messaging Terms

Program description. If you opt in by providing your own mobile phone number through signup, account settings, or another confirmed opt-in flow, you may receive transactional and service-related SMS messages from AXIOM Unlimited LLC and its operating services (including LookBefore), such as account verification codes, security alerts, report-ready notifications, and operational updates. By confirming opt-in, you consent to receive these messages. This section does not apply to phone numbers entered as part of a search query about another person; those are search inputs governed by our Privacy Policy and the search-input terms of this Agreement, not subscriptions to a messaging program.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the events you subscribe to. You may receive up to several messages per week during periods of active use, and zero messages during periods of inactivity.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier apply to all messages sent and received. AXIOM Unlimited LLC does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

Opt-out. You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message from that program. After you send STOP, we will send a confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To rejoin, sign up as you did initially.

Help. If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at legal@lookbefore.org.

Carriers.Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, and other major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy. Mobile information collected in connection with these SMS services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
